Deadline day madness takes hold at The Imps

Lincoln City had a hectic 31st January bringing in 4 players and signing current left back Paul Robson on a full contract until the end of the season. The Imps also released Striker Gavin Mcallum.

We take a look at the Lincoln new boys.

Jefferson Louis


Jefferson Louis – Striker – Brackely Town – Free Transfer

A 32 year old ex Dominican International, he has played for over 20 different clubs in his
career most notable for a spell at Wrexham where he scored 15 goals in 42 games. Signed from Brackley Town, Louis is also the cousin of current striker, Richard Pacquette.

Louis Almond

Louis Almond – Striker – Blackpool – Loan

A promising 20 year old who David Holdsworth has described as a player: “the fans will enjoy watching.” On loan until the end of the season, Almond has experience in the Blue Square Premier having spent the last year and a half on loan at Barrow.

 

Nialle Rodney

Nialle Rodney – Winger – Bradford – Free Transfer

Another younger player, Rodney joins after already spending two loans spells at Darlington and Mansfield this season. He started his career at Championship side Nottingham Forest and joined Bradford in the summer of 2011.

Peter Bore

Peter Bore – Winger – Harrogate – Free Transfer

The 24 year old can play almost anywhere down the right having played right back, right wing and as a forward. Born in Lincolnshire, Bore spent the majority of his career at Lincoln’s fierce rivals, Grimsby Town, where he made over 150 appearances.
